The Gerhard Faber Foundation of the parish of Waxweiler invites all interested parties to a bird call hike on Saturday, June 7, at 7 am.

The meeting point is the sports field in Oberpierscheid-Philippsweiler. Pastor Georg Josef Müller will welcome the participants to the hike. The destination of the one-hour hike through the foundation forest is the Napoleon oak in the Roßbach valley near Mauel. A memorial service for Dean Gerhard Faber will take place on the open space around the natural monument at around 8 am. All believers (including non-hikers) are cordially invited to attend. There is a large parking lot directly at the Napoleon oak (in Mauel past the Hubertushof) in the forest. Afterwards, the foundation invites you to a breakfast with coffee, hot chocolate and sandwiches in the forest. The Arzfeld Tourist Information Office is the event's cooperation partner.
