Birdsong hike and fair at the Napoleosneiche near Philippsweiler

The Gerhard Faber Foundation of the Waxweiler Parish invites all interested parties to a bird song hike on Saturday, June 6, at 7 a.m.

The meeting point is the sports field in Oberpierscheid-Philippsweiler. There, Pastor Georg Josef Müller will welcome the participants of the hike. The goal of the one-hour hike through the foundation's forest is the Napoleon Oak in the Roßbachtal near Mauel. A memorial service for Dean Gerhard Faber will take place around 8 a.m. at the open space around the natural monument. All believers (including non-hikers) are cordially invited to this. A large parking lot is available directly at the Napoleon Oak (past Hubertushof in Mauel) in the forest. Afterwards, the foundation invites everyone to a breakfast with coffee, cocoa, and sandwiches in the forest. The event's cooperation partner is the Tourist Information Arzfeld.
