Description

Circular route Binscheid, Hickeshausen, Mannerbachtal


The circular route around the heights west of Binscheid follows the Mannerbach and its tributary through wooded valley sections for long stretches. The first section of the trail passes through the meadows and fields of two emigrant farms and offers beautiful viewpoints over the Eifel up to heights in the neighboring countries of Luxembourg and Belgium.

Highlights along the way:

  •    Haus Mannertal with an excellent kitchen
  •    St. Nikolaus parish church in Binscheid with a ceiling painting by the "painter pastor" Christoph März
