Islek Pfädchen - Dahnen Weiher- und Reiher-Weg

An easy circular hike east of Dahnen through the romantic Mühlbachtal valley.

This Islek path leads from the sports field in Dahnen out of the village down into the Mühlbach valley, past the Steinkaulsmühle mill, along the stream and some fish ponds.
Behind the Steinkaulsmühle mill, there is also a very beautiful rocky slope with individual angel figures and a bench to relax on. Several benches can be found along this path and invite you to take a short break. With a bit of luck, herons can be observed at the fish ponds, where they like to spend time. .
Shortly before the Steinkaulsmühle mill, this path meets the Südeifel nature park hiking trail no. 2 and follows this for approx. 1.5 km along the Mühlbach stream.

Please note: The Islek Pfädchen have no path markings or signposts. Please follow the directions given or the gps navigation!
