Description

Loop through Daleiden, along the Heimbach and Mühlbach streams.


The circular route follows the terrain and leads over long stretches through forest. It follows the Mühlbach to the power mill, which invites you to take a break and refresh yourself. From here the path follows the Heimbach back to Daleiden past the largest cemetery of honor in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Highlights along the way:

  •      Mühlbach and Heimbach floodplains
  •      Honorary cemetery "Auf dem Scheid" near Daleiden
  •      View over the Irsental "Valley of Butterflies" to the east
